Members of the European Social Ethics Project are working on an edited book, which will be a collection of ethics cases from around the world called: Practising social work ethics around the world: Cases and commentaries.
Colleagues from around to world are invited to consider offering a case for the book (or to add to a collection of cases that will be placed on a website). Sarah Banks and Kirsten Nøhr will edit the book. Although it has ’social work’ in the title, in a global context ’social work’ includes community work and social pedagogy.
We are very keen to have cases from many different countries, although the book will be in English. We prefer to receive cases that have been translated into English if possible, but please do not worry if the English is not very good. We will be very happy to work with people to improve the English.
Please circulate this message to contacts you have in other countries who you think might be interested. Cases should be sent by 1st September 2009 to:
Sarah Banks, s.j.banks@durham.ac.uk
OR Kirsten Nøhr, k.nohr@xs4all.nl
